coordinates: Kitchen table in Oaxaca. The internet has been restored finally after a 26-day fast!!!
[art] You surely have danced with a Strandbeest on a beach, no? Well if not, here’s a video of what might be in store for you one charmed day.
[time] One of my favorite thinkers is neuroscientist and psychologist Julia Mossbridge. I saw her speak at one of my favorite conferences, Science and Non-Duality (SAND) which takes place at a sprawling hotel mansion thing in Santa Clara. Here she speaks with physicist and philosopher Avshalom Elitzur and diagrams time, which for my money is about the best thing you can do on a Friday afternoon.
[beauty] I wanna get married in an Iris van Herpen dress. Groom TBD.
[sillies] Do you text your ex-boyfriends (yes, plural) links to cat videos? I won’t defend my behavior, but only mention it to say that Mr. P very rightly pointed out the ukulele music is what makes this video of the Pallas cat.
Mr. P was the bassist originally invited to join Cake. (Yes, I know Cake wouldn’t be Cake without the bassist they ended up choosing.)
Anyway, here’s a second cat video even better than the first.
[belly happy] Have you had a Spanish tortilla? The only thing it has in common with the Mexican tortilla is they are both round. I made one yesterday and even though it was super ugly, broken, burned, and wrong in at least five ways, it was still totally delicious.
I can prove to you alchemy is real by this video where our hero, Gaby, turns eggs, olive oil, and two pounds of potatoes into liquid gold.
Besos (kisses) from Oaxaca,
Cris and Team Dragon
