Coordinates: As per usual, I’m in my pink fluffy robe with a mug of tea. Today’s is Tokyo Green from Tao of Tea. This week, Hurricane Agatha hit the coast with 105mph winds and tore the roof right off my friend Iris’s house. She was away at the time, so all is well. 100 miles to the north, Oaxaca City had clouds and moderate rain which we sorely needed.
[sexy] Jes Tom is both sexy, silly, salty, AND sweet. I’ll be back for more please, yes thank you. If you need a tale of working in an Upper Eastside NYC luxury sex shop, scroll no further.
[silly] How I have missed the work of British illustrator Mervyn Peake I cannot understand. The titles alone reveal the beautiful absurdity of his pen. He wrote Captain Slaughterboard Drops Anchor, Titus Groan, and Letters from a Lost Uncle as well as illustrated classics such as Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Household Tales by Brothers Grimm, and Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde.
[salty] I’m not sure if I would recommend a friend to have tea with these two, but I surely would go myself if invited. They’re a fascinating mom-daughter pair. Michele is creative partner and wife of fashion designer, Rick Owens. I’m enchanted to know these rebels are out there making their art.
[sweet] I’m not crying, you’re crying. Who doesn’t need a little love poetry?
[sacred] Indigenous peoples of North America used sign language to communicate with members of neighboring tribes. They didn’t speak the same, but they signed the same, allowing travel and effective trade across vast territories.
[offering] Preflight Guide to Microdosing I compiled a little PDF to help those shroom-curious souls looking to open to their healing process and access more creative expression.
