coordinates: still in Austin, TX for another week
Week 01 Meditation
Today marks the final 100 days of 2022. October, November, and December have a quite different feel as the seasons begin to change. We wrap up the year now. We take stock and harvest our learnings.
Every week I will release a neural reprogramming sound meditation, which is a fancy way to say poetry set to music. Use headphones for a vastly better experience, as this has binaural beats from Non in the background.
It’s designed to be used in a specific time range, from when you first wake up to the moment when you review your day’s meetings and to-do list.
We are orienting to two questions:
How do I say yes to my yeses?
How do I say no to my nos?
These two are is the work of the rest of our lives, as far as I can imagine.
It’s under five minutes long and orients you to begin your process of dissolving into effortlessness. If you should desire support for this process, you know where to find me over at the Dragonfly project.
Transcript of the meditation
Note: I highly recommend you listen to the audio, not try to make reading it into a meditation. That won’t work at all, but if you want to get a sense of it before diving in, here ‘tis…
Take a moment to land, if you like lying on a bed, knees bent. Hands supporting your body as the body likes, as the body wants and perhaps even demands.
Say the following statements to yourself. The “I” isn’t Cris, it’s you speaking to yourself.
A part of you may agree strongly. A part may disagree. Allow both to exist. Simply witness what each statement activates in you.
All sensations are included in my aliveness.
All sensations are safe to feel.
I am ready to feel whatever arises.
I sense the flashes of quick brilliance
of the insights of my mind
and feel my skull as hollow as a temple
I feel my throat poised to speak
and at the same time, empty of words
I feel my heart leap into joy
and still as silence
I feel the strength of my will run forward with sure steps
and receive the nourishment needed to do so
I feel my belly, my bellow,
hungry and full
I feel the waters of my
blood
I feel the waters of my
muscle
I feel the waters of my
bone
I feel the waters of my
brain
I feel the waters of my
eyes
I feel the waters of my
tongue
I taste my aliveness
This day I bless
This day I step
into my calling
This day I allow my aliveness to guide
my steps
my choices
my service
my purpose
I emanate my aliveness
My entire being is service
My entire being is of service
as my aliveness
