I’m going to do some posts from time to time that are quotes from my daily journaling practice. The subject line will always start with “I’m Sorry You…” That’s me talking to myself and not necessarily you, so take the ones that resonate and let the rest go.
I’ll pick one of the things that came up as I was dumping out the dregs of whatever is causing fear, anger, or sadness. Think of this as a conversation between my wounded kid and my wild child who is deeply connected to fun, love, and magic.
The wild child doesn’t worry about grammar, and I will not correct her. I will edit to add enough context so you can get the sense of what she’s saying.
Without further ado, my first installment.
“I’m afraid I’m crazy.”
:: EDIT – Cris, we like you. You’re so fun when you do things that make you think you’re crazy. That’s when you begin to play with us and make music and all kinds of colorful things that make others happy too. You don’t be scared.
We’re all kids inside.
